Frequently Asked Questions

  • What type of payments does the farmstand accept?
    We accept cash, credit, debit, and Prescription for Health tokens.
  • When is the Sunflower Festival?
    We open in August.
  • When do you open?
    We generally open for the season around the middle of June, about the time strawberries are in season. At times, the self-serve station is open for those times we aren't open with staff.
  • Food Safety
    Safety is a big deal for us. Our Farm conducts yearly Food Safety trainings for all staff, and has a Produce Safety Plan in place to address risks on the farm that could impact food safety, with written protocols and records of the strategies we employ to keep everyone safe. Our Kitchen is licensed by the Washtenaw County Health Department and is inspected twice each year. We of course follow all food safety guidelines every day. Our Kitchen is not gluten free. We also use nuts, milk, soy, and fish in our recipes. However, we are careful about allegies and cross-contamination.
